      Pros

      Some flexibility in schedule. Good staff and interns who care and are out to help.

      Cons

      Lackluster management and HR staff. Compensation was not great. Benefits were ok but not great.

      Pros

      Staff and clients are good people. Excellent Benefits! Services provided are very helpful to those clients in need.

      Cons

      Upper management has no clue what goes on, or if they do know they don't care. Too many people set in their ways. No room for growth. Pay is not worth the stress.

      Pros

      Friendly coworkers, staff that want to make a difference for HIV-infected individuals, great medical insurance plan, generous sick time

      Cons

      Unyielding management, supervisor, and not a lot of room for growth, staff does not try to keep the staff happy so there is a high turnover rate.

      Advice to Management

      They need new management, period. They are very set in their ways and they don't value their hard-working employees. Take a moment to appreciate them instead of looking at how to ramp up the numbers.

      Management is abusive, silences feedback from staff regarding programs and workload
      Management is interested in client numbers and grant funding requirements as a bottom line - do not consider human capital (e.g. burnout, workload, client attention) as factors

      Acknowledge the role your words and how they impact employees' morale

      Homogeneous way of thinking - if your ideas are different, they are often ignored.
      Afraid to do things differently, even at the detriment of the agency.

      Utilize the staff you have. They are innovative. Solutions don't always come from the top down.
